Angela Hawkins

Angela Lee Hawkins, age 47, of Lawndale, NC, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at her residence.

Angela was born October 15, 1973 in Cleveland County to the late Johnny Hawkins and Kathy Ledford Burns.  She liked to go fishing.  Angela loved unicorns, dream catchers, and playing with her cats.  She loved animals; Angela even had a Nigerian dwarf goat that she bottled fed for the first six months after it was born. Angela loved her children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include children, Tiffany Black (Joey Howard), Kathy Burns, Kelly Haines (Corey), Jimmy Donahue (Alexus), Helen Shaw (Terry); brothers, Johnny Hawkins IV, Andy Burns, Johnny Burns; sister, Dana Burns; uncles, Boyd Hawkins, James “Willie” Hawkins (Linda), Chip Hawkins (Joyce); aunt, Frances Hawkins; three grandchildren, and her service dog “Mickey”.

There are no formal services planned.
