Laurier Emile “Larry” Chauvette, 77, of Forest City, passed away on April 30 after a period of declining health.
Larry was born on January 20, 1945 to Emile and Georgette Chauvette in Manchester, New Hampshire. He graduated from Manchester High School West in 1963.
In 1966, Larry met Nancy, and they wed on June 15, 1968 going on to have 2 children, Cyndi and Mike.
Larry was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life that He felt that they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something Larry often mentioned. Larry was unendingly proud of Cyndi, Mike, and Nancy and always tried his best to support them.
Larry was also a passionate woodworker and could often be found in his shop when he had free time. He also loved to cook and bake and made wedding cakes for close family and friends on occasion.
Anyone who knew Larry knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Emile & Georgette, his brother Jerry, and his grand daughters, Ashley, Meghan, and Mallory. Larry is survived by his wife, Nancy, his children Cynthia and Michael (Amber), his grand children, Kaitlyn (Jonathan), Kayla (Caleb), Christian (Lisa), and Logan, great grandsons, Aiden & Logan, and brothers Roger, Normand (Christine), David (Susan), and Jude (Rick).
There will be no funeral services per Larry’s request. Anyone wishing to donate in Larry’s memory can do so to the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Arnold Palmer Hospital Orlando, or Lee Shore Animal Rescue in Forest City.
