Linda Kay Hamlin

      Linda Kay Hamlin, age 78, of Ellenboro, NC passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

      Linda was born Thursday, July 25, 1946, in Polk County to the late Amos Pritchard and Frances Barnette Pritchard. Linda was a people person and storyteller. She loved her family and will be missed by all that knew her.

      In addition to her parents, she proceeded in death by her husband Gary Hamlin, two children, Ricky Dale Davidson, Tammie Lee Davidson; three brothers, Butch, Cecil and David Pritchard.

     Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Kathy Pierce (Phillip) of Landrum SC, Paul “Bo” Davidson, of TN and Misti Davidson of Ellenboro; sister, Genelle Rosenbalm, of Heiskell, TN; twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren; her baby dog, Jane, and many more family and special friends.

      There will be a celebration of life held by the family at a later date.
