Miles Murray

Miles “Ricky” Murray, age 62, formerly of Bostic, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.

Ricky was born June 4, 1958 in Rutherford County to the late James Monroe Murray and Reba Hathleen Street Murray.  Ricky was a Firefighter and EMT, he retired from the Bostic Fire Department in 2011.  He loved welding, rebuilding any kind of antique cars.  Ricky loved his family with all his heart, and he will be greatly missed.  “Many people travel a road and sometimes take the wrong direction, but in the end his heart was right, and he died peacefully and now he is with the Lord”.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his granddaughter Olivia.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Shelby, Deana, Allen; grandchildren, Anberlin, Nikki, Jessica, Hope, Mary-Beth, and Dyson; an uncle, Manley Street (Faye) of Bostic.

A memorial service for Ricky will be announced later.
