Nathaniel "Nate" James Stewart

  In loving memory of Nathaniel “Nate” James Stewart, a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully departed on May 9, embraced by the Lord in his cherished home. Originally from Lakewood, CA, Nate found solace and purpose in North Carolina, dedicating himself to his work at Lake House Restaurant in Lake Lure. 

     He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Jayden Stewart, granddaughters, Rihanna Stewart and Armani Brown, sisters Sara and Jessica Zmick, and Alicia Gagnon. Nate is also survived by his separated wife, Andrea Stewart, his brothers-in-law Kelby Justice and Nathan Hill, his roommate Doug Lattimore, and his friends Spencer Prentice and Billy Pollard. 

     He cherished time with his family and enjoyed golfing.

     He is preceded in death by his mother Caroline James.

     Services will be held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel on Monday, May 20 from 1-3 pm, followed by a reception at Lake House Restaurant in Lake Lure.
