Pattie Lynn Taylor

    Pattie Lynn Taylor, age 52, of Forest City, NC passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at her residence.

     Pattie was born Wednesday, July 21, 1971, in Starkville, Mississippi to Larry Thomas Buckner and Patsy Latham Wood. Pattie enjoyed dancing, racing, and going to two of her favorite places, the beach and Tennessee. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Pattie was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She will be missed by all that knew her.

     She was preceded in death by an infant child, three infant grandchildren, and her stepfather J.B. Fowler.

     In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her son, James “Ray” Hudson, III (Alexus), daughter, Crystal Hudson; one brother, Willie Fowler (Amber); a sister, Sheila Green (Tommy); grandchildren, Kyeleigh Hudson, Madaylen Hudson, James Hudson IV, Camdeyn Hudson, Ayden Miller, Malaki Hudson, Everleigh Hudson, Tucker Fowler, Gracie Fowler; she is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and other step siblings.

    There will be a memorial service conducted at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19th at the Riverside Baptist Church with Reverend Ted Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the time of the service at the church.
