Ronald Wayne McDaniel

     Ronald Wayne McDaniel, age 66, of Swannanoa, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Yadkin Nursing Center.

     Ronald was born Monday, December 9, 1957, in Gaston County to the late Horace McDaniel and Rachel Ball McDaniel. He loved fishing, watching wrestling on tv, going to flea markets, and when he was younger, enjoyed mountain climbing. Ronald always put mayonnaise in his pintos. He was a good person and will be missed by all that knew him.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, William Wayne McDaniel, and Allan Scott McDaniel; a brother, Roger McDaniel; and a sister, Rose Plemmons

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Helen Estes; a sister, Becky McFee (Marvin); sister-in-law, Faye Hoyle (Bruce); brothers-in-law, David Tessneer (Yvonne), Marvin Tessneer (Donna), Michael Tessneer (Denise); two grandchildren, Scott and Starr McDaniel; two great grandsons, Bentley and Elijah McDaniel; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

    There will be a Celebration of Life held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the New Covenant Church of God in Ellenboro, with Rev. David Tessneer officiating. The address, 120 Top Avenue, Ellenboro, NC 28040,
