Tommy Brown

Tommy Roger Brown, age 77, of Dallas, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Tommy was born December 13, 1943 in Gaston County to the late Willie Brown and Florence Seamen Brown.  He was a self-employed painter most of his life. Tommy enjoyed watching football and Monday night wrestling, He loved listening to music and going dancing.  Tommy also loved his family, especially his sisters.  He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; John Brown and Ray Bailey; three sisters; Dot Holmes, Evelyn Brown, and Sue Cribb.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Bill Brown (Brenda) of Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Patsy May and Mildred Sawyer both of Gastonia; brother-in-law, Burt Holmes of Supply, NC; special niece and care taker, Tammy Begley of Dallas, NC, best friend, Byrd Hanie  and his puppy, "Mimi".  He is also survived by several more nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Sparrow Springs Baptist Church.
