Tommy Helmandollar

Tommy Helmandollar, age 74, of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland.

Tommy was born Sunday, January 26, 1947 in Richlands, Virginia to the late Robert Brittan Helmandollar and Eliza Jane Bandy Helmandollar.  He spent most of his life living in West Virginia.  Tommy was an electrician as well as a prison minister.  He was a loving husband and father.  Tommy loved to golf, fish, hunt and was an avid reader.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Viva Malone, and Kathy Dean Graham

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty-one years, Cathy Stephens Helmandollar; children, Shawn Mann, and fiancé Stephanie; Tonya Helmandollar and husband David Almodovar Soto, McKenzie Dayne Helmandollar, and adopted son Jeremy Goyette. Also, one nephew Greg Cable.

A memorial service will be held later date.
